The S19 has changed over time. If you purchased your S19 Before to 8/16/2011 your Adapter Plate uses the QR3 Quad Ring If you purchased your S19 After 8/16/2011 your Adapter Plate uses the QR5 Quad Ring
Ensure quad ring is fully seated in housing groove and lube with clean oil before installation. Quad ring can be normally be used for several oil changes. The o ring on the nose of the filter element is optional. Only used for gasket plate retention. Included cup wrench fits over machined flats on bottom cooling fin. Torque filter to either factory specs or 18-20 lb ft, whichever is less |
